Apply for a Nursery Place at Co-op Academy Clarice Cliff.

Our nursery welcomes children aged 3 - 4 and helps them get ready for school in a happy and caring way. As part of a nursery school, children learn routines, build independence and feel confident in a classroom setting. Our highly qualified teachers use play and fun activities to help children make friends, enjoy learning and grow in confidence every day.

Nursery: Ages 3-4

• When Can My Child Start?
  Your child can start the term after their 3rd birthday if spaces are available.
  Our terms start: September, January and April.

• Free Nursery Education
  We provide FREE full-time places (30 hours per week) for ALL Nursery children when they join us in September.

• Opening Hours
  Standard hours: 8:50 am - 3:00 pm.

• Wraparound Care with Busy Beez
  Morning wraparound is from 7:30 am - 8:50 am. This is £5.50 per day.
  After-school wraparound is from 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm. This is £7 per day

• Lunch Options for Nursery
  Lunch is charged at £15 per week, or you can provide a packed lunch.

Rising 3’s Applications.

At Co-op Academy Clarice Cliff we offer Rising 3’s places in our nursery.

This is for children that turn 3 during the academic year. 

So, for our 2025-26 academic year, we will have a Rising 3’s cohort join us in January our Spring Term, and another in April, our Summer Term.

• Spring Term - To start on Tuesday 6th January 2026 for children who have turned 3 between 1st September 2025 to 31st December 2025.

• Summer Term - To start on Monday 13th April 2026 for children who have turned 3 between 1st January 2026 to 31st March 2026.

We will provide the number of hours of childcare in line with what funding you are entitled to, so if you are entitled to the statutory 15 hours – this will be half days (9am-12pm), and if you are able to claim 30 hour funding, this will be a full-time place.
