The children had an exciting time exploring the Anglo-Saxons—learning about their arrival in Britain, their diet, their forms of entertainment, and how they told stories.

They participated in a drama session and even took part in an archaeological dig to uncover Anglo-Saxon artifacts. 

The children were also fascinated by the tools, weapons, and everyday objects they "unearthed," deepening their understanding of this fascinating period in history.
