Time to talk day 2025

The whole school took part in activities to get them talking.

Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. It’s a day for friends, families, communities and workplaces to come together to talk, listen and change lives.

We're proud to support Time to Talk Day alongside Co-op, encouraging open conversations about mental health. A simple "How are you?" can go a long way. Let's break the stigma and show we care.

Our Academy has spent a few hours taking part in activities to get the children talking about feelings and the importance of using kind words.

EYFS and KS1took time to share what made them happy and sad, whilst KS2 completed worry worksheets and conversation games.

We also hosted a coffee morning for parents and carers, who came along and helped to make valentine's decorations for our upcoming valentine's disco. The staff enjoyed a few treats and games in the staffroom to encourage conversation and help them unwind.
