Fairtrade fortnight started off with a whole school assembly focusing on educating our pupils about Fairtrade's global impact, supporting over 2 million farmers and workers in 68 countries by ensuring fair wages, ethical production and sustainable practices. The assembly ended with a prayer for fairness and responsibility, along with a message promoting kindness and helping others, tying it to school values.  

Then our Year 6 children made cakes using Fairtrade products and sold these to the rest of the school, making £22.20 for our school fund.
