Tittesworth Trip

Children in Y4 have been taking part in free trips to Tittesworth.

Year 4 have been learning about rivers in Geography, so as part of their field work, we took a trip to Tittesworth to explore the River Churnet. The children reinforced previous geography learning, saw examples of erosion around the river and we also studied the flow & depth at different points.

We also stopped off in Leek on our way home to see the main river Churnet and how this differed compared to the smaller parts that veered off into the reservoir.

They had an amazing time and were super ambassadors for the school!
