Administration and Finance Assistant

The successful applicant will be a part of an established team responsible for the smooth running of the school office.  As well as effectively dealing with day to day enquiries and visitors to the school, you will be required to complete various administrative and finance tasks.  Previous office experience and an ability to use a variety of computer packages is essential.  The working days are Monday - Thursday.

You will need excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills as well as good grammar, numeracy and accurate keyboard skills. Experience of working in a school is desirable but not essential. A friendly and professional demeanour is a must.

Main duties will include

  • General office administration 

  • Finance administration including raising orders, processing invoices and chasing payments

  • Processing and monitoring payments for trips and school meals

  • Overseeing completion of class and dinner registers

  • Carrying out admissions processes for new starters and accurately updating pupil records

  • Helping with the organisation of school trips and events

  • Following GDPR and other trust policies
